Fulham defender John Pantsil admits he knows nothing of reported interest from West Brom.

There has been speculation that the Ghana defender could be one of those players shipped out of Craven Cottage following the arrival of new boss Mark Hughes, with the newly-promoted Baggies believed to be lining up an offer.

But Pantsil told Ghanasoccernet.com: “I don’t know anything about that report and I am fully concentrating on Fulham with the season just about to start.

“Coach Mark Hughes has not even met the playing body yet so it is impossible that such conclusions have been made.

“Journalists must cross-check facts before coming out with such stories because it is causing a lot of discomfort.”
