Fulham striker Bobby Zamora is recovering well from the broken leg he suffered last month.
The England international, 29, was injured during a challenge with Wolves midfielder Karl Henry, and the initial prognosis was a four month spell on the Craven Cottage sidelines.
However, following successful surgery it emerged Zamora was facing up to six months on the sidelines, but he is making good progress in his rehabilitation and remains on schedule to make his return in time for the Premier League run-in.
He told Sky Sports: “It’s going well and I am aiming for February/March time (to return). Fingers crossed, if everything goes well, I will be back playing again then.”
