Everton chairman Bill Kenwright has revealed he would consider ground-sharing with city rivals Liverpool.
Both clubs are keen to move from their current homes and Anfield legend Kenny Dalglish said at the weekend that they should “look at every possibility” as their individual plans continue to stall.
Dalglish, writing in his column for the Mail on Sunday, admitted that it would not be an “ideal situation by any means but something that was “worth looking at” in the current financial climate.
And when asked about the possibility of the two Merseyside clubs sharing the same ground, Kenwright told ESPN Soccernet: “In the past Liverpool have always been opposed so I am intrigued about what Kenny Dalglish has had to say about ground-sharing.
“It is more than likely we would sit down and have a decent discussion about ground-sharing in Stanley Park with Liverpool.”
