Everton manager David Moyes has rubbished speculation linking him with the Aston Villa vacancy.
Martin O’Neill quit the Midlands club on Monday, reportedly due to a disagreement over the club’s transfer policy.
Moyes, who has worked wonders on a limited budget at Goodison Park, has since been mentioned as a possible successor along with Sven-Goran Eriksson and Gareth Southgate.
But the Scot insists he is committed to Everton, where he has been boss for over eight years.
He insisted: “I am loyal to Everton, I’ve always said that. It is a really good club and this year we have a really good team and we have a good chance of doing well.”
