Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has played down reports he will take charge at Roma this summer.
Claudio Ranieri, a former Blues boss, quit Roma at the weekend after seeing the team squander a three-goal lead to lose 4-3 to Genoa, and youth team coach Vincenzo Montella was subsequently placed in charge until the end of the season.
Now reports in Italy have suggested ex-AC Milan coach Ancelotti, who is under fire with Chelsea facing the possibility of a trophy-less season, could move to the Stadio Olimpico.
But while admitting becoming boss of the Giallarossi is a dream of his, the 51-year-old Italian insists he is committed to Chelsea.
Ancelotti told Mediaset Premium: “Coaching Roma. For the moment it remains a dream.
“It's my dream and I've always said this, but for the moment it remains so.
“I feel good here (at Chelsea).”
The Blues are currently 12 points behind Premier League leaders Manchester United and they crashed out of the FA Cup at the weekend, losing on penalties at home to Everton.
But there was some respite in the Champions League on Tuesday night with Chelsea winning 2-0 in the first leg of their last-16 tie with FC Copenhagen.
