Reading v Queens Park Rangers live preview

Football News Staff - 4 Feb 2011
Queens Park Rangers boss Neil Warnock believes games do not come any harder than tonight’s visit to Reading in the nPower Championship.

The Rs are currently five points clear of second-placed Norwich City in the race for promotion to the Premier League, and they know a victory at the Madejski Stadium will heap further pressure on the Canaries and the chasing pack.

But Warnock’s men face a difficult task in Reading this evening, with the Royals having only lost once in their last 13 outings.

And the former Sheffield United and Crystal Palace manager told the QPR’ official website: “Reading are a good side. Brian (McDermott) has done a great job there and they are absolutely flying at the moment.

“They don’t come much more difficult than Reading away. There are now easy games in this division, though.”

QPR cruised to a 2-0 victory at Portsmouth in midweek, while Reading drew with promotion candidates Cardiff City.
