Championship side Norwich City have landed Arsenal starlet Henri Lansbury on an emergency one-month loan.
The 20-year-old attacking midfielder, who made a goalscoring appearance in the Carling Cup rout of Tottenham earlier this season, has had previous loan stints with Scunthorpe and Watford.
And Lansbury will go straight into the Canaries’ squad for Sunday’s derby clash with Ipswich Town.
Norwich manager Paul Lambert told the club’s official website: “I’m delighted Arsenal have agreed to let Henri come here.
“I saw him when he was at Watford and Scunthorpe and he’s a quality young player, very positive in his play.
“We have been hit with injuries and midfield is one of the areas where we needed strengthening. Henri gives us more options in there which is important.”
