Jeffrey Bruma is poised to make his Leicester City debut in today’s derby clash with Derby County.
Defender Bruma, 19, completed his loan move from Premier League champions Chelsea on Friday and is expected to go straight into the squad to face the Rams in the Championship’s evening kick-off.
The Dutchman told Leicester’s official website: “Playing first team football was exactly the reason for me coming here so I'm hoping to get more game time, more experience and to become a better player.
“I spoke to (manager) Mr (Sven-Goran) Eriksson about coming to Leicester, he had a lot of confidence in me and that played a big part in my decision to come here.
“Everything here looks very positive... so I'm looking forward to being involved tomorrow and seeing how the team does.”
Leicester City cruised to a 4-1 victory over Barnsley in their most recent outing, while Derby County were denied a 1-0 victory over Portsmouth by a last-gasp goal from David Nugent.
