Defender Eric Lichaj will make his Leeds United debut when they travel to Bristol City today.
Lichaj wrapped up his loan move from Aston Villa on Friday and United manager Simon Grayson has confirmed the 22-year-old American will be thrust straight into his starting XI for the Championship showdown at Ashton Gate.
Grayson told the club’s official website: “Barring any disasters Eric will start at the weekend. He trained with us on Thursday morning and I've no problem with him coming straight in.
“We'll look at the international lads ahead of the game.
“Jonny (Howson) was back with us on Thursday after playing with the U21s and I was in Dublin to watch Snoddy (Robert Snodgrass) so I know he came through without any problems.”
Leeds United head into this game on the back of a 1-0 victory over Coventry City, while hosts Bristol City romped to a 4-0 win at struggling Preston North End.
