Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale look set to feature in tonight’s Champions League showdown between Real Madrid and Tottenham.
Ronaldo had been a major doubt for the first leg of this quarter-final clash with suffering a hamstring injury last month, but the former Manchester United man has been named in coach Jose Mourinho’s squad for the Bernabeu encounter.
Kaka and Marcelo are also part of the squad having recovered from their respective knee and rib injuries, while Angel Di Maria looks to have shaken off a knock he sustained at the weekend.
However, Karim Benzema is sidelined with a hamstring but Madrid are boosted by the return of Gonzalo Higuain following his back injury.
Meanwhile, Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has been handed a major lift with the news Bale and William Gallas are available.
Both Bale and Gallas missed the game at the weekend with their respective hamstring injuries, but both men have travelled to Spain and are expected to feature.
However, Redknapp remains without the central defensive trio of Ledley King (groin), Younes Kaboul and Jonathan Woodgate (both calf), while full-back Alan Hutton has been ruled out for at least a month with a knee problem.
A foot injury could keep midfielder Niko Kranjcar out of the side, but definitely absent, with a groin injury, is Steven Pienaar.
