Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo could make his return in tonight’s Champions League last-16 clash with Lyon.
Ronaldo has missed Madrid’s last two games with a leg injury, but he may feature at the Bernabeu as the two sides battle for a place in the quarter-finals.
Boss Jose Mourinho told Marca: “We'll wait until the final training session to decide (if Ronaldo will play).
“I'm not a doctor and I'm not the player so I will leave it to the medical department to decide.”
Sami Khedira and Ezequiel Garay are likely to feature after returning from injury at the weekend, but Pedro Leon (knee) is doubtful.
And definitely absent is forward Gonzalo Higuain, who may not play again this season after suffering a slipped disc last November.
Meanwhile, Lyon forward Lisandro Lopez is fit again following a hamstring injury that kept him out of the first leg, and Yoann Gourcuff looks to have overcome a toe injury in time to face Madrid.
A thigh injury has made defender Cris doubtful, but Aly Cissokho looks set to sit this one out with a knee problem.
