Inter Milan have received a huge boost with the news Wesley Sneijder is fit to face FC Schalke in the Champions League.
The current holders head to Germany looking to overturn a 5-2 deficit from the first leg of this quarter-final tie, and Holland international Sneijder has overcome a bout of flu to be part of the travelling party.
Walter Samuel could make his return from a lengthy spell out with a cruciate knee ligament injury and Lucio has completed his suspension, but Cristian Chivu is banned after being sent off in the first leg.
FC Schalke, meanwhile, will be without striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar because of a knee injury that also kept him out of the initial tie last week.
Jefferson Farfan sits this one out through suspension, while both Angelos Charisteas (thigh) and Christoph Metzelder (broken nose) are doubtful.
But former Spain international Raul, UEFA’s all-time leading goalscorer, is available and is expected to start up front.
