Defender Lucio is doubtful for Inter Milan ahead of tonight’s Champions League clash with Bayern Munich.
The Brazilian has been struggling with a muscle injury but was party of the squad that flew out to Germany, with holders Inter looking to overturn a one-goal deficit from the first leg.
Ivan Cordoba and Cristian Chivo are both on standby should Lucio be ruled out, while the Italians have doubts over last season’s final hero Diego Milito (thigh).
Esteban Cambiasso has been sidelined since suffering a thigh strain during the first meeting between the two sides, and definitely absent is Walter Samuel (knee).
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich coach Louis van Gaal, who will step down at the end of the season, has now new injury problems to contend with.
Star wide men Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben are expected to start once again at the Allianz Arena having put their respective injury problems behind them.
