Kaiserslautern coach Marco Kurz remains upbeat despite heading into today’s clash with Hamburg on a five-game winless run.
Die Roten Teufel have slipped into the Bundesliga’s bottom three following a sequence that has seen them take just one point from the last 15 available.
But that point did come from a recent draw with league leaders Borussia Dortmund and Kurz believes his side can take great heart from that display.
He said: “We have an intact team which is harmonising well, but unfortunately we are lacking points right now.
“We have analysed the errors made in the Hannover game (last week) and are now only looking forwards.
“We really want to keep the three points at home.
“We have got to impose ourselves at home and take control of the game, and then we can reward ourselves with the points.”
Kaiserslautern head into this game on the back of a 3-0 defeat at the hands of high-flying Hannover, while Hamburg hammered Werder Bremen 4-0 last time out.
