New Eintracht Frankfurt boss Christophe Daum is hoping to mark his home debut with a victory over Werder Bremen this evening.
Daum, who replaced Michael Skibbe a fortnight ago, began his reign with a 1-1 draw at Wolfsburg last weekend, and he is hoping to go one better when Bremen visit Commerzbank-Arena.
The 57-year-old, whose side is just four points above the relegation zone with six games to go, said: “It is certainly a game on a knife's edge.
“We have got to try and latch onto where we left off in our last game and, if everything comes together, we can turn one point into three.
“I hope that we can all support the team together in this difficult situation.
“I hope that after the game, we can all say that the team gave all it could and played as a tight unit.”
While Eintracht Frankfurt drew with Wolfsburg last time out, Werder Bremen were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Stuttgart.
