Cologne coach Frank Schafer is keen to see his side build on last week’s success when they host high-flying Mainz on Sunday.
The Billy Goats stunned Bayern Munich last week by fighting back from two goals down to beat the reigning German champions 3-2, but they remain in the relegation zone despite picking up the points.
And Schafer has demanded more of the same from his side as they bid to fend off relegation from the Bundesliga, starting with the visit of fourth-placed Mainz.
He said: “It is our big aim to take the momentum from the Bayern Munich game with us into the game against Mainz.
“We want to carry on where we left off against Bayern.
“We have got to show the same courage and the same conviction as we did in the second half against Bayern.
“It will be a different game, but it won't be any easier.”
While Cologne claimed the scalp of Bayern Munich last time out, Mainz were held to a 1-1 draw by Werder Bremen.
