Borussia Monchengladbach v Kaiserslautern live preview

Kaiserslautern coach Marco Kurz insists they will go on the attack when they visit rock-bottom Borussia Monchengladbach tonight.

Borussia coach Lucien Favre is expecting Die Roten Teufel to sit back and look for a point, but Kurz claims that will not be the case with his side just two points above the relegation zone, and only out of the relegation play-off place on goal difference.

He said: “In games like this, we have it all in our own hands. We are up against a direct rival and we cannot afford to be cautious.

“My team has belief and morale to face up to this relegation battle and confront it with self-confidence.”

While Kaiserslautern head into this game on the back of a 2-1 victory over SC Freiburg, Borussia Monchengladbach drew 1-1 with Werder Bremen last time out.
