Borussia Dortmund will be looking to further extend their lead at the top of the Bundesliga when they host struggling Stuttgart today.
Dortmund are clear leaders of Germany’s top flight with 46 points, 12 ahead of second placed Hannover 96, but coach Jurgen Klopp believes there is still room for improvement from his side.
He said: “When you are at the top of the league then it means you cannot have done everything wrong, but that does not necessarily mean you have done everything right.
“We know how to realistically evaluate our performance in Leverkusen.
“If it were Bayern Munich with our advantage, then they would probably go on to be champions, but we know that a lot can still happen and we will carry on doing what we are doing.”
Stuttgart are in real trouble in 17th place and they will be determined to grab their fifth win and move out of the relegation zone.
The Bundesliga returned last week following their winter break and Dortmund cruised to a 3-1 win over Bayer Leverkusen, while Stuttgart got a much-needed 1-0 win over Mainz.
