Blackpool will hold talks with former Aston Villa striker Marlon Harewood this week.
The 30-year-old has been training with the Premier League newcomers following his departure from Villa, and has impressed boss Ian Holloway.
Agent Phil Sproson told skysports.com: “We are set to have talks with Blackpool over a possible deal and we will be going into discussions with an open mind.
“Marlon has done well in training and he has been impressed by Ian Holloway and the players up at Blackpool.
“We will now see what is on offer and we will see how it develops over the next 48 hours.”
