Blackpool have finally captured long-time target DJ Campbell from Leicester.
Seasiders boss Ian Holloway has been desperate to sign Campbell on a permanent basis after the 28-year-old striker played a starring role in the club’s surprise promotion while on loan last season.
And the Foxes have now agreed to an undisclosed fee, with the former Brentford and Birmingham man putting pen-to-paper on a two-year contract.
Campbell told Blackpool’s official website: “I’m over the moon, I’m delighted.
“It feels like I’ve got unfinished business, everyone knows how much I love Blackpool.
“I wanted to come back and I’m just delighted that it’s been made possible.”
