Blackpool manager Ian Holloway has ended his summer transfer duck with four new signings.
Craig Cathcart, Ludovic Sylvestre, Elliot Grandin and Malaury Martin have all joined the Premier League newcomers mere days before the season opener at Wigan.
Northern Ireland U21 defender Cathcart has put pen-to-paper on a three year deal, with an option for another year, to complete his move from Manchester United for an undisclosed fee.
Former Barcelona and Barcelona B midfielder Sylvestre has signed a two-year-deal, with a one-year option, after Blackpool agreed an undisclosed fee with Czech side Mlada Boleslav.
French winger Grandin, 22, has joined from Bulgarian outfit CSKA Sofia on a two-year contract, and he too has an option for a third year at Bloomfield Road.
And, finally, Monaco midfielder Martin has been awarded a one-year deal following a successful one-month trial with the club.
