Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean is set to be offered a long-term contract to stay in the role.
Kean was named caretaker boss following the surprise sacking of Sam Allardyce last month, and Rovers later confirmed that the 43-year-old would remain in charge for the rest of the season.
The Ewood Park outfit have won just one of his four games in charge, but chairwoman Anuradha Desai has confirmed the club’s owners have been impressed by the Scot and that he will be offered a deal beyond this season.
Desai told Sky Sports News: “We're making a contract for him which is going to be a full-time contract. It's not just about this season.
“It's going to be a proper contract. At least two to three years.
“He thinks well. He has a vision. Mark my words, he thinks well. He's a good thinker. That's his biggest strength.”
