Blackburn have signed highly-rated Manchester United youngster Mame Biram Diouf on a season-long loan.
The 22-year-old striker linked up with the Red Devils in January after a deal was agreed with Norwegian side Molde the previous summer.
Diouf went on to make six appearances, scoring once, and manager Sir Alex Ferguson was happy to let the Senegalese frontman continue his development away from Old Trafford.
He will link up with Rovers later this week after completing his Senegal U21 obligations, and is expected to go straight into the squad for the Premier League opener against Everton.
