Birmingham midfielder Sebastian Larsson has resumed talks over a new contract with the Midlands club.
The 25-year-old Swede has made 172 appearances for Blues, scoring 20 goals, since turning his loan move from Arsenal into a permanent one in 2007.
Larsson’s contract expires at the end of the current campaign and boss Alex McLeish has previously spoken of his desire to tie the player to a new deal at St Andrews.
And Larsson, who could sign a pre-contract with a non-English club in January, told Expressen: “It’s obvious that the club want to know what will happen and I also want to know.
“We are negotiating again. We will see if we can find a solution because I have got six months left on my contract.”
