Aston Villa full-back Luke Young has pledged his future to the Midlands club.
The 31-year-old snubbed a £2.75m move to Liverpool earlier this summer, and was the unlikely matchwinner against Everton at the weekend as Villa bounced back from two big defeats.
And Young, who has also been linked with Fulham and West ham, cannot wait for the transfer window to close so he can focus fully on helping the club climb up the table.
He told the Daily Star: “There are still people ringing me left, right and centre to see if I am available.
“Hopefully once the window shuts, everything should be more settled.”
Young’s comments will be a big boost for the Midlands club following James Milner’s departure and amid ongoing speculation over the future of star winger Ashley Young.
