Glasgow Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor insists he is fully focused with on-pitch matters despite recent speculation linking him with a move to the Premier League.
The 28-year-old Scotland international has been in fine form for club and country and was linked with a January switch to Aston Villa earlier this week.
Manchester United and Spanish side Sevilla have also reportedly been interested in McGregor, but the Rangers No 1 maintains his concentration is solely on helping Rangers win a third successive Scottish Premier League crown.
He told the Evening Times: “I don’t really know anything about the reports. If there is interest then it is certainly nice.
“However, it’s not something that is going to be on my mind when I’m out there on the pitch or anything like that.
“When I take to the field, all I think about is the game rather than anything else. So it isn’t something that will affect me in any way whatsoever.”
