Tomas Rosicky believes Arsenal team-mate Nicklas Bendtner will remain at the Emirates Stadium.
Bendtner last week revealed his frustration at a lack of first-team action since his return from injury, and hinted he could be forced to leave the Gunners in search of regular games.
Manager Arsene Wenger responded by stating the Denmark international is still a major part of his plans, but that has not stopped German legend Franz Beckenbauer, chairman of Bayern Munich’s advisory board, hinting that the Bundesliga giants could make a bid for the forward.
However, Rosicky is not expecting Bendtner to move on.
He told Ekstra Bladet: “Of course I believe (Bendtner) has a future at the club.
“I don’t quite understand the question because he has been injured for a while, but obviously he has to be patient as (Marouane) Chamakh’s playing well at the moment.
“It’s difficult, because there’s always competition for places at a club like Arsenal. We have three good strikers in Nicklas Bendtner, Robin van Persie and Chamakh. That’s a good thing for the club, but obviously it is difficult for the players.”
