Braga v Arsenal preview

Football News Staff - 23 Nov 2010
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is expected to rest some of his big guns for tonight’s Champions League clash with Braga. (kick-off 19.45 GMT, live on Sky Sports 2)

Wenger is likely to rest Andrey Arshavin and Robin van Persie, while captain Cesc Fabregas only recently returned from a hamstring injury and the Gunners boss will not want to push the Spanish midfielder too much at this stage.

Also missing the trip to Portugal are Manuel Almunia (elbow), Abou Diaby (ankle) and Thomas Vermaelen (Achilles).

Kieran Gibbs could come into the side at left-back, while forward Nicklas Bendtner could be handed a rare start.

Last Premier League game:

ARSENAL 2 Tottenham 3: Fabianski, Sagna, Koscielny, Squillaci, Clichy, Fabregas, Nasri (Rosicky 77), Denilson, Song, Arshavin (Walcott 77), Chamakh (Van Persie 68). Not used: Szczesny, Djourou, EBoue, Wilshere.
