Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey will continue his return from a broken leg on loan at Nottingham Forest.
The 19-year-old, who has been on the sidelines since February, managed 45 minutes for the Gunners’ second string in midweek and has now joined Championship side Forest until January.
And a statement on the Gunners’ official website read: “He is joining Billy Davies’ side on loan to gain match fitness and sharpness.
“Everyone at Arsenal Football Club wishes Aaron the best of luck during his time with Nottingham Forest and we all look forward to seeing him once again in an Arsenal shirt in the New Year.”
And Forest boss Davies was delighted to land Ramsey, telling his club’s website: “You don’t suppose you sometimes have hope but if you don’t buy a ticket you don’t stand a chance of winning the lottery.
“We thought we’d try a flyer, ask some questions and before we knew it there was a slight possibility of getting him and then all of a sudden we’re delighted.
“Everybody is very, very pleased with the fact that an excellent footballer is coming to the club.”
